AEGIS is an ongoing alt-history manga / webcomic set in ancient Greece and Rome.
After the mysterious death of the last remaining Olympian, Zeus, a war erupts between those who wish to form a new pantheon of Gods to rule over mankind and those who no longer wish to live under the Gods’ rule.
Kairos, a pious young demigod devastated by the death of Zeus, sets out on a suicidal revenge mission to reclaim shards of the Aegis, a mythical object that grants godhood when unified, and create a new pantheon in the Olympian’s violent and impulsive image.
